This article analyzes the complex issue of vulnerability rape, focusing on the problem of overvaluing the victim's word as unique evidence for specific cases. The study addresses the social relevance of the crime, the relevant legislation (art. 217-A of the Penal Code), and the risks of unfair convictions based exclusively on the victim's testimony, which can be influenced by trauma and other factors. Through a literature review, evidence analysis and case study, the article explores the means of alternatives, the psychological impacts on the victim, and the need for a balance between protecting vulnerabilities and ensuring due legal process. The objective is to contribute to the debate on the search for justice in cases of vulnerability violations, highlighting the importance of a complete and careful investigation.
