Abstract

This study aims to understand the challenges faced by teachers of multi-grade classes in rural areas. Through dialogues with teachers, we seek to uncover these challenges, from analyzing issues such as the lack of specific training, management of teaching time, scarcity of teaching resources to the emotional impact caused by all these difficulties in the work. According to the research, curricular adaptation, the use of methodologies that awaken student autonomy and pedagogical support are factors that contribute to improving the quality of teaching. In addition, the importance of public policies aimed at valuing teachers and structuring education in rural areas is clear, ensuring that education reaches all children in a uniform manner.
