This article sought to identify nursing interventions aimed at elderly individuals with epilepsy in primary care. The work emphasizes the importance of these actions to help patients establish a more balanced routine and improve their well-being. The approach used was an integrative literature review, with searches carried out in the Scielo, Medline and Bdenf databases. Controlled terms in health sciences were used, such as epilepsy, nursing, nervous system, elderly, seizures and primary care, using the AND operator for crossing. The selected sample included articles published between 2020 and 2024, which were available in full in Portuguese, English and Spanish, excluding duplicates. The intended results indicate the urgency of improvements in nursing practices aimed at the care of elderly individuals with epilepsy, through the adoption of holistic strategies that encourage autonomy and well-being. Furthermore, it is expected that the research will help to strengthen health education and facilitate the identification of the condition in basic care units. It is concluded that primary care must expand beyond the treatment of epileptic seizures, integrating approaches that ensure continuous and comprehensive support for the elderly, promoting their adaptation and quality of life.
