Abstract

This article aims to examine how digital transformation is influencing people management and leadership practices in the healthcare sector. The research was conducted in a medium-sized clinic in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, using a mixed-method approach that included interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The results indicate that the use of digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence and talent management platforms, can potentially enhance employee motivation and engagement, as well as optimize processes and improve organizational efficiency. However, challenges were also identified, such as resistance to change and the need for advanced digital skills among leaders. The article suggests that combining transformational leadership practices with digital strategies is crucial for success in the healthcare sector.
