This study focuses mainly on collecting data on the methods used by teachers in 2020/2021, when remote teaching was carried out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The methods used were closer to a proposal for methodologies that increasingly make students the protagonists of knowledge. Thus, moving away from the traditional teaching format, providing interactive and dynamic activities. This is an applied research with a qualitative approach that investigated the transformations in teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the use of Microsoft Teams as a VLE. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with an elementary school student and two teachers, addressing changes in teaching practice, the impact of technologies, and teaching strategies. The data revealed challenges, opportunities, and lasting effects on post-pandemic education and demonstrated that technological transformations brought challenges, but also interaction, autonomy, and student protagonism.
