Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article sought to discuss accidents related to burns in children, considering that there are many that occur daily. The objective of the research was to analyze the management of pain in hospitalized children who are victims of burns in scientific publications. The methodology used was an integrative literature review, carried out in the databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, Virtual Library in Health Nursing, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, without time limits, including complete studies based on primary data. The result was that the combination of pharmacological analgesia, use of immersive technologies, systematic assessment of pain and emotional support proved to be more effective than isolated approaches. Therefore, it is concluded that the effectiveness of the treatment is related to the personalization of interventions, the involvement of the multidisciplinary team and the rational use of technology and medications.
