Individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder are predisposed to experience heightened feelings of overwhelm in response to stressors, leading to more severe and early-onset anxiety symptoms, which can adversely impact academic performance. This study aims to assess the relationship between the frequency of anxiety in university students diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Three validated instruments were employed: the Beck Anxiety Inventory, the ASRS-18 Scale, and a socioeconomic questionnaire, targeting students enrolled in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Biomedicine, and Pharmacy at a higher education institution in Juiz de Fora.
