This study investigated the effectiveness of collaborative learning, mediated by technologies, in developing students' socio-emotional skills. The main objective was to analyze how the educational model based on cooperation, integrated with the use of digital tools, contributes to the improvement of socio-emotional skills, such as communication, empathy and teamwork. The research, of a bibliographic nature, carried out an analysis of academic texts on the subject, exploring how the interaction between students in digital environments favors the joint construction of knowledge and the development of essential skills. The development of the study highlighted that the use of digital technologies in collaborative learning facilitates communication between students, promotes an inclusive and dynamic environment, and makes the learning process flexible. It was found that, when interacting with peers, students not only improve their cognitive skills, but also their social skills. The final considerations indicated that collaborative learning, mediated by technologies, is effective in developing socio-emotional skills, being fundamental for the integral education of students. Furthermore, it was suggested that further studies be carried out to deepen the conclusions, especially with regard to the integration of different technologies in the collaborative process.
