This study addressed the transition from traditional blackboards to digital methods in the educational context, investigating the advantages of this change in terms of accessibility, interactivity, and student engagement. The overall objective was to analyze how the use of digital technologies impacts the teaching and learning process, highlighting the gains compared to traditional methods. The research was bibliographic in nature, with a qualitative approach, in which studies and publications on the implementation of digital tools in education were analyzed. The development of the research revealed that the digitalization of education offers greater personalization of learning, allowing students to access content in a flexible and interactive way. In addition, digital technologies promote greater engagement and collaboration among students, expanding pedagogical possibilities. As final considerations, the research indicated that digital methods are effective in promoting dynamic and inclusive learning, although full implementation faces challenges related to teacher training and access to technologies. Continuing studies on the training of educators and overcoming structural barriers is essential to guarantee the benefits of digitalization in education.
