This study investigated the use of Business Intelligence (BI) in the management of e-learning environments, aiming to understand how BI can contribute to optimizing teaching-learning processes and managing educational resources. The central question was: how can the use of BI improve strategic management in e-learning environments? The research was bibliographical, based on a literature review on the topic. The development addressed possibilities for personalizing teaching, monitoring student performance in real-time, and using data for more informed strategic decisions. The results indicated that BI implementation can enhance educational management, personalize learning, and optimize resources, but also revealed challenges such as the need for adequate infrastructure and professional training. The conclusion was that BI provides valuable tools for digital education but more studies are needed to understand its application in different educational contexts. The research contributes by highlighting the relevance of BI in education, emphasizing its integration with pedagogical strategies.
