The article examines accountability practices in Brazil in the context of public governance, highlighting the role of audit courts, public policy councils and integrity and a powerful weapon in the fight against corruption. The role of accountability, control and transparency of audit courts is also explained. The importance of councils and public policies demonstrates the significance and relevance of citizen programs. It discusses how these mechanisms can promote transparency, reduce corruption and strengthen public integrity, while innovative technologies facilitate greater access and control over government information.Accountability is also a pillar of democracy, an imperative for success, an ongoing process of consolidating democracy participation in public governance. The methodology is carried out in an exploratory and qualitative research, while at the same time it is based on a quantitative research article obtained from secondary databases on government websites of 32 state and municipal audit courts in Brazil. And in this cluster analysis we sought to reference three paradigms: transparency, accountability and citizen participation.
