The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.Abstract
This article analyses the work of C.S Lewis – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, extracting important aspects about the cardinal virtues. Not only that, it explains virtue as a whole and takes the cardinal virtues as a golden point: Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance. How they become explicit in Lewis's work, and how they take root in those who read him. By immersing ourselves in Lewis's work, we are taken to an enchanted world where right and wrong, the meaning of life, purpose, success or failure are explored and how virtues, once implemented, lead to the best responses, contributing to the formation of more centered and virtuous children and, consequently, more human adults.
