FROM EXCLUSION TO OPPORTUNITY: ANALYSES ON SPORTS, PRISON EDUCATION AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE AS TOOLS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

Abstract

The digital book "From Exclusion to Opportunity: Analyses on Sports, Prison Education and Criminal Justice as Tools for Social Change" presents a detailed investigation into effective strategies for transforming adverse social realities into concrete opportunities for human development and citizenship.

Structured in three complementary chapters, the content initially explores how sports can act as a powerful agent in overcoming social marginalization, providing inclusion, empowerment and future prospects for historically excluded individuals. In the chapter "From Marginality to Medal: Bibliographic Analysis on the Role of Sports in Promoting Social Inclusion", an in-depth study of existing academic contributions on the subject is carried out, highlighting practical cases and measurable results of successful sports programs.

Then, in the second chapter, entitled "Education as a Factor in Reducing Criminal Recidivism: Pedagogical Analysis of the Resocialization Process of Released Prisoners", the fundamental importance of prison education is addressed.
