This article aims to demonstrate how the political, affective and welcoming perspective of the school manager contributes satisfactorily to the performance of the school community. Seeking to understand how school management impacts the development and organizational success of educational institutions and how this perspective leads to a path towards a humanized school. A literature review methodology was adopted, although brief, crucial to understand the current state of the proposed theme, in which academic publications, articles and previous studies related to school management, humanized leadership and welcoming are analyzed. Given the readings carried out, the theme makes us infer that the role of welcoming management is fundamental to ensure that students, teachers and family members feel welcome and integrated into the school routine. This involves leadership practices that promote an environment of support and understanding, in order to integrate all members into the school dynamics. The importance of the political and welcoming perspective of the school manager is essential as a factor for the performance of the school community. The role of the manager within a school institution is fundamental, requiring not only knowledge and competence, but also the ability to dynamize and implement school policies that aim to achieve the proposed educational objectives. Concepts about the object of study were verified, comparing and exploring the divergences of each definition through a qualitative analysis and bibliographic review, complementing and enriching the research on the themes studied or subjects correlated with the theme of school management. Articles, publications on websites, magazines with publications related to education and books were observed.
