Dengue is one of the most relevant arboviruses for public health in the world. In Brazil, every suspected case of the disease must be reported to Epidemiological Surveillance, with severe forms being immediately notified. Thus, notification data can serve as input for the management and improvement of systems that deal with dengue in the country. Thus, the objective was to analyze the completeness of compulsory dengue notifications carried out in the state of Minas Gerais in the year 2022. The study analyzed 91,332 notifications of suspected dengue fever, of which the vast majority corresponded to female individuals, of ethnic brown and completed high school. Information regarding social characteristics presented a greater number of fields without information than those regarding signs and symptoms. Furthermore, the serological profile was not completed in 43.76% of notifications. It was possible to identify high rates of fields not filled in in compulsory notifications, making it necessary to reflect on the impact this fact has on intervention strategies, especially with regard to the most vulnerable populations.
