Education is seen as a means for new experiences, mainly because the teaching and learning process is full of methods and techniques that encourage interaction between students and teachers. The digital revolution has had a profound impact on education, reshaping teaching approaches and expanding access to knowledge. The incorporation of technology into education offers new learning possibilities, such as hands-on activities, blended teaching methods, and customized learning experiences, fostering student engagement and autonomy. However, the implementation of technology in education faces significant barriers, such as digital inequality, lack of adequate teacher training, and excessive reliance on technological resources. The COVID-19 pandemic crisis brought drastic changes to education, driving the implementation of digital resources in learning. Distance learning, on an emergency basis, became the main solution for maintaining school practices, demonstrating both the advantages and challenges of technology-driven education. This study investigates how digitalization affects the teaching and learning process, addressing its advantages and challenges.
