Abstract

Non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) are lesions characterized by gradual loss of enamel in the cervical regions of the teeth, without involvement bacterial and are classified into erosion, attrition, abrasion and abfraction. In these LCNC cases, where there is loss of tooth structure greater than 1mm, hypersensitivity may occur dentinal pain, which is characterized by generating a specific pain, which is acute, provoked and short term. For the treatment as a whole, it will mainly consist of eliminating the causal factor and subsequently the obliteration of the exposure of the dentinal tubules of the elements affected through a restorative treatment carried out with composite resins, carried out with the same protocol and techniques used in conventional restorations.
