This study discusses the educational curriculum and its role in deconstructing stereotypes in riverside communities, which are heavily influenced by stereotyped images from the internet. The research focuses on the youth of Jaburú dos Alegres – PA, who are in the process of identity formation and face challenges due to these media influences. Given this reality, it is essential to analyze how the school curriculum addresses and responds to these representations that impact students' identity construction. The specific objectives include: understanding how the school curriculum is organized in relation to identity formation and its connection to the internet; investigating how the school environment contributes to this process and the impact of digital media on student behavior; and analyzing the importance of the curriculum as a mediating tool in identity formation. The results indicate that the internet has been a determining factor in changing young people's personal relationships, influencing their perceptions of themselves and their community. Therefore, the school curriculum must be adapted to address these issues, ensuring a space for reflection and the appreciation of riverside identity in the face of new technological and cultural dynamics.
