The role of Instructional Design (ID) is growing every day thanks to the constant changes and evolution of technologies. Focused on education, it proposes more interactive classes and places the student as the protagonist of their learning, drawing the attention of teachers and teaching staff to changes in education, with the intention of evolving in this technological and globalized world. The objective of this work is to show the possibilities of inserting Instructional Design in education, together with emerging technologies, promoting the inclusion of the school community in this new global scenario. It presents the instructional designer as responsible for the DI project, the possibilities and difficulties of implementing DI in education and also highlights the ethics of instructional design in relation to the environment and life in society. Education needs to keep up with technological changes and Instructional Design appears, in this scenario, to be following a promising path, through the use of technological resources and projects suitable for student learning.
