Family involvement in the school context has been highlighted as an essential factor for child development. This study analyzed teachers’ perceptions of the impact of the partnership between school and family on the academic performance of students at the Fábio Corrêa de Oliveira Andrade Municipal School in Fazenda Nova – Brejo da Madre de Deus/PE. The action research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, involved 16 teachers from Elementary School I and Early Childhood Education. The data indicate that collaboration between family and school strengthens students’ academic and social performance. The teachers highlighted the need for strategies that encourage parental participation, promoting a welcoming environment and effective dialogue. In addition, they emphasized the importance of face-to-face meetings and digital tools to facilitate communication. The research concludes that the partnership between school and family enhances learning and reduces challenges in the school environment. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen this relationship to ensure a more effective and collaborative education.
