This article addresses visual impairment and blindness, highlighting their concepts, the challenges faced by blind or visually impaired individuals, and inclusive strategies within educational and social contexts. The research aims to foster a deeper understanding of the subject and present pathways to full inclusion. Based on a bibliographic methodology, it analyzes inclusive practices and relevant public policies. The study concludes that inclusion requires structural, pedagogical, and attitudinal adaptations to ensure equal opportunities.
