THE USE OF COMICS IN TEACHING AND CULTURAL VALUE IN QUILOMBOLA COMMUNITIES

This article aims to analyze, based on a bibliographic review, the use of comic books as a methodological support in teaching and learning, as well as its impact on the valorization of collective memory and the historical and identity rescue of quilombola communities. The work prioritized articles, TCCs, among others, with the aim of highlighting the positive impact of the use of comic books as an effective methodological tool in the formation of students who are readers and critics. Given the works analyzed, it was clear and evident, according to the experiences and research cited, that comic books, in addition to having a more playful aspect that arouses the interest of young readers, are also undoubtedly a valid and effective means of knowledge. The results also indicate that the authors of the research used to support this work conducted their research and proved through real experiences that comic books are an effective and accurate teaching methodology for the good development of young readers.
