The teaching of geography in special education requires adapted strategies to ensure the learning of students with disabilities. This study investigates inclusive resources and methodologies that enhance the teaching of the discipline, highlighting the importance of curricular adaptation, the use of assistive technologies, and the application of active methodologies. The main challenges include the lack of accessible materials, the absence of specific teacher training, and the need to adapt geographic content. Active methodologies, such as educational games, promote greater student engagement and autonomy. Assistive technologies, such as applications and digital tools, support the learning process, fostering the development of new skills. Curricular adaptation is essential to meet students' needs, allowing for flexibility in activities and assessments. Additionally, collaboration between special education teachers and geography instructors strengthens more effective pedagogical practices. The study concludes that the implementation of inclusive resources and continuous teacher training are fundamental for a more accessible and meaningful education. Thus, promoting inclusion in geography teaching contributes to the academic and social advancement of students with disabilities, valuing diversity and ensuring quality education.
