This article aims to analyze the process of continuous professional development in the Distance Learning (DL) format at the Pernambuco Court of Justice (TJPE), focusing on the impact of this teaching modality on the performance and professional development of the institution's employees. The research, descriptive in nature, adopted a quantitative approach by applying questionnaires to participants of the DL courses offered by TJPE. The results indicated that, although the distance learning modality has positively contributed to the improvement of employees' professional skills, challenges remain to be addressed, such as improving the quality of instructional materials and broadening access to content. Furthermore, the flexibility offered by DL was identified as one of the key factors facilitating the learning process and employees' adaptation to the work environment. The research concludes that DL at TJPE has the potential to continue driving professional development, provided that certain structural and pedagogical improvements are implemented to ensure greater effectiveness and inclusion in the courses.
