The work of the New High School (NEM) teacher and its current challenges. To make observations with listening to propose training in the curricular changes of the NEM, without having to displease. It was believed that the case studies are peculiar, to reinforce active methodologies with a focus on teaching and student learning. It was seen that the culture with experience involving the curriculum that, in turn, has been influencing the challenges of practices with pertinent guidelines, after high school. The general objective in analyzing the challenges of curricular changes with the implementation of the New High School in the face of practices involving teaching and learning in teaching work in a Public School in the Capital of the State of Maranhão. And, your question was, how can the New High School disturb the challenges of curricular changes with its implementation, in the face of practices involving teaching and learning in teaching work in a Public School in the Capital of the State of Maranhão? The reader will find in these writings an organization with an introduction that succinctly presents the organization of the work's ideas and later the general and specific objectives aligned with the ideology of the methods defended in it. Its chapter sections that support the work and point out the challenges of the NEM, given that, the visit to the literature already published, which showed authors who talk about the teaching challenges in the teaching process in the secondary segment. Results that emphasize the analysis of the objectives contemplated and notes for the question raised in the investigative process of the study. The final considerations with the purposes achieved, since the confirmation of these results has a return for society.
