Abstract

This study investigated how companies improve their recruitment and selection processes, considering the new demands of the labor market and the impact of emerging technologies. The overall objective was to analyze current recruitment and selection practices, focusing on the integration of technologies, such as artificial intelligence and big data, and the implications of these tools for diversity and strategic alignment of organizations. The research was bibliographical in nature, with analysis of secondary sources on the subject. Topics covered included the evolution of selection practices, the challenges faced by companies, and the contributions of technologies to optimize and diversify the selection process. The results indicated that companies have benefited from the adoption of technologies in the selection process, mainly in streamlining the screening and interview stages, in addition to promoting greater diversity and inclusion. The analysis also revealed that the alignment of employee skills with the company's strategic needs has a direct impact on organizational performance. In final considerations, the study concluded that adapting to new market demands and using technology in recruitment are essential to improving selection practices, highlighting the need for further studies on the impact of these technologies on organizational culture and employee well-being.
