The study presents a reflection on the diversity of students who make up the EJA teaching modality and how the process of inclusion of these students who have some type of disability should happen. In the development of this study, we sought to understand the pedagogical practice carried out in the classroom based on the legal provisions that guarantee the inclusion and permanence of students with disabilities in EJA. After reading some articles, books and other research sources, it was possible to select some authors in order to provide a theoretical basis for this research, as well as serving as a foundation in the discussion of essential concepts with regard to Youth and Adult Education. According to bibliographical studies, it was found that EJA is made up of a diverse audience that presents peculiar characteristics, that even with all the laws that ensure specialized educational assistance and inclusive education policies, it is necessary for the school as well as the teacher to be prepared so that the inclusion of students with disabilities occurs effectively.
