This study aims to analyze the role of physiotherapy in preventing Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMDs) in industrial workers, highlighting their importance for occupational health. WMSDs are diseases that affect the musculoskeletal system and are often associated with work activities characterized by repetitive movements, inadequate postures and physical overload, common conditions in the industrial environment. The present study is abibliographic research of the integrative literature review type. The following databases were used: Virtual Health Liberary- BVS, Scientific Eletronic Librare- Scielo, CAPES, PubMed. The research addresses the strategies used by physiotherapists, such as ergonomic analysis of the work environment, implementation of workplace gymnastics programs, continuous monitoring and preventive education of workers. In addition, the impact of physiotherapy on reducing injuries, increasing productivity and improving the quality of life of workers is discussed. Despite the proven benefits, physiotherapy practices face challenges such as resistance from workers and employers, financial limitations and the lack of public policies that encourage occupational health. It is concluded that physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the prevention of WMSDs, being essential for the construction of a healthier work environment, which reflects positively on both the health of workers and the performance of companies. The integration of physiotherapy into the industrial routine is an investment that aims to promote health and reduce costs with absences and medical treatments.
