This work deals with pedagogical facilitation in active and participatory methodologies of the teaching-learning process. The objective is to report a pedagogical experience as a facilitator in the specialization course in Health Surveillance Management. The aim is to reflect on the pedagogical knowledge necessary to mediate the teaching-learning process in educational activities carried out in person, in learning communities and in distance education. The study is an experience report type. The results showed that the pedagogical process, conceived as a constructivist spiral, makes it possible to demonstrate the importance of the different educational stages as articulated movements that feed on each other. The pedagogical practice, carried out in a shared and dialogical way, starting from the processing of situations – problems, elaboration of narratives and construction of portfolios indicated a powerful educational experience in proposing educational and training actions. From this perspective, it is essential that the articulation between theory and practice prioritizes an interdisciplinary and multi-professional approach. Active methodologies that enable critical reflection, the problematization of reality, the dialogue of knowledge and the appreciation of experiences tend to enhance meaningful and fruitful learning.
