This study addressed the effectiveness of collaborative learning mediated by digital technologies in the teaching-learning process, seeking to answer how this approach can be effectively applied in educational practice. The objective was to analyze the characteristics and conditions that facilitate or hinder the implementation of collaborative learning in digital contexts. The research adopted a bibliographic methodology, reviewing articles, books, and studies on the topic. The study explored the concepts and practices of collaborative learning, the use of digital tools, and the impact of technologies on the collaborative learning process. The findings revealed that technology-mediated collaborative learning promotes student interaction and the development of social and cognitive skills. However, the preparation of educators and technological infrastructure were highlighted as critical factors for its success. The conclusions indicated that, while the results are positive, further studies are needed to analyze the specific factors influencing the implementation of collaborative learning in various educational contexts. Complementary research is recommended, focusing on student experiences and the conditions that facilitate or hinder the practical application of this methodology.
