RIOMOBI: PROTOTYPE ANDROID APPLICATION FOR THE ACQUISITION OF BOAT TICKETS IN THE AMAZONAS

Abstract

This article presents the development of a prototype of an Android mobile application for the acquisition of a boat ticket in the Amazon, as well as the results of its usability tests. 6 participants performed tasks such as creating an account, logging in, recovering passwords, searching for and buying tickets. The analysis was based on qualitative data obtained through the questionnaire applied at the end of the test. The results show that, although some users have faced navigation difficulties, lack of clarity and slowness, the prototype proved to be efficient in the tasks within its proposal. It is concluded that the development of an Android mobile application for the purpose of purchasing boat tickets has the potential to be well accepted and facilitate the negotiation process for travelers.
