This research discusses the importance of intersectoriality in the implementation of the Public Policy of Social and Educational Service, focusing on the interaction between Social Education and School Education, covering the reality of the Social and Educational Service Program developed in the municipality of Ourilândia do Norte, State of Pará. To go into the subject, a brief history was made about the different political initiatives, which throughout the history of Brazil have contributed to define and legitimize the rights of children and adolescents, with an emphasis on guaranteeing the rights of the adolescent author of the act. infraction. To carry out the research, a qualitative approach was adopted and a structured interview was used as a data collection instrument. The sample public consisted of professionals from the socio-educational service and from School Education. Based on the research carried out, it was noticed that the dialogue between socio-education and Education is below what SINASE recommends, having as its main factor the lack of knowledge about the National Policy for Socio-Educational Assistance and its operationalization.
