Abstract

Leukemia is a hematopoietic change that occurs in the form of neoplastic cell proliferation in the blood of the animals. Originating in the bone marrow, and sometimes in the spleen, it can be classified into two broad categories: lymphoid and myeloid. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is characterized by the accumulation of immature lymphoid cells. It can be characterized by the presence of 20% of blasts in bone marrow and blood. The objective of this study is to report the suggestive diagnosis of ALL in a dog attended at the Clinipet veterinary clinic located in the municipality of Rolim de Moura / RO. The animal presented apathy, fever and weight loss, in the clinical consultation the hemogram examination was requested, being evidenced several changes at the cellular level. After the assessment of blood flow, a diagnosis of ALL was suggested. The tutors opted for the euthanasia of the animal, and a confirmatory diagnosis could not be made.
