TACTILE BOOK WORKSHOP: A PROPOSAL FOR TEACHER TRAINING THROUGH REMOTE TEACHING DURING THE PANDEMIC

The article aims to show the possibility of professional training in the format of emergency remote education, during the pandemic period, for professionals who work or intend to work in the field of visual impairment. A workshop on tactile books with 15 places was offered through the Benjamin Constant Institute by the Extension and Improvement Division, with the aim of presenting and discussing concepts and techniques for the production of handcrafted tactile books. Likewise, the preparation of part of a tactile book was proposed for the course participants and an evaluation, through Google form, on the content of the tactile book theme and the format used to carry out the workshop.
