This study analyzes the incorporation of active methodologies in the current educational scenario, with a particular emphasis on improving students' digital skills. The main objective of the research was to understand how active learning methodologies can help improve digital skills that are essential in the 21st century. The main goal is to examine the connection between the application of active methodologies and the improvement of digital skills in the educational context, enabling innovative teaching practices and their consequences on students' education. The methodological approach used was a systematic literature review, with a qualitative focus, which involved the analysis of academic publications, scientific articles and case studies on the application of active methodologies in various educational scenarios. The results demonstrated that the use of active methodologies, such as project-based learning, flipped classroom and gamification, has a significant impact on the improvement of digital skills, encouraging greater student engagement and the improvement of skills such as critical thinking, digital collaboration and technological proficiency. The study emphasized the relevance of continuous teacher training and a committed technological infrastructure for the success of these actions. The lessons indicated that, despite the challenges in applying these methodologies, their potential for change in education is remarkable, particularly in improving digital skills crucial for students' professional future.
