Abstract

Information systems, especially the Sólides system, are essential for people management in companies, as they centralize information and business communication, optimizing processes in the Human Resources area. This article presents the use of the system, with Human Resources professionals from 'company X', a small company in Ferraz de Vasconcelos, who identified success factors in using the Sólides system. The qualitative research involved two professionals responsible for strategic planning and processes in the area. The aim of the research was to understand their perspectives and strategies on the system. The results showed that the advertising of the service was decisive in the choice, while the training offered is a point for improvement. The lack of knowledge and preparation to use the system was an issue to be developed, but it also served as an impetus for the professionals' proactivity and practical learning. In addition, success factors such as the centralization of information, increased productivity and efficiency, improved communication, continuous feedback and integration of processes were highlighted, leading small and medium-sized companies to join.
