Abstract

Neonatal emergencies in the delivery room require immediate interventions and specialized management to ensure survival and minimize complications in newborns in critical situations. This study addresses key strategies for interventions such as neonatal resuscitation, advanced respiratory support, and management of specific conditions, including prematurity, low birth weight, and critical congenital anomalies. The importance of ongoing training and development of health teams is highlighted, with an emphasis on the use of simulations and evidence-based protocols to optimize clinical response. The adoption of multidisciplinary practices and advanced technologies is essential to reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality. It is concluded that constant updating of protocols and investment in medical education are essential to improve neonatal care and outcomes.
