Abstract

The absence of works planning in the process of executing and supervising a project can lead to waste in the companies involved, such as decreased profitability, delays in completing works, waste of materials and human resources, therefore, losses to customers who seek construction services. quality and good value for money. Given this situation, the main objective of this article is to highlight the relevance of organizing projects in civil construction, with the aim of reducing the impacts caused by works that lack adequate management and professionals involved in carrying them out. As a result, a literature survey was carried out on the importance of good construction planning, as well as the risks of its lack, therefore the findings highlight that good construction planning can help civil construction to avoid unnecessary costs and give managers a better view of the entire construction cycle, providing greater safety for all participants in the work.
