This study addresses the importance of comprehensive care provided by a multidisciplinary team during the gestational process in primary health care. The research was carried out through literature reviews, analysis of articles and consultation of digital materials dealing with the central theme of this work. The methodology applied consisted of a literature review with a qualitative and descriptive approach, based on the collection of scientific articles. The theoretical foundation will be presented in a contextual manner, organized into chapters that describe care for pregnant women and prenatal care. The first chapter, based on the expected results, addresses the following subtopics: the importance of prenatal care by health professionals in the basic health unit; Nursing Consultation in Pregnant Women's Care; Physiotherapy in Pregnancy; Oral Health in Pregnancy. The aim of this study was to identify the importance of the support of a multi-professional team in monitoring pregnancy and its contributions to a humanized, safe and risk-free delivery for both mother and fetus, where quality care and adequate prenatal monitoring strengthen trust between the pregnant woman and the health team.
