The expanding adoption of a fully digital approach in criminal courts represents a significant shift within the Brazilian judicial system. This model eliminates the need for physical documents, allowing all procedural actions to be conducted electronically, thereby promoting greater speed and efficiency in case handling. Digital platforms enable remote hearings and electronic rulings, facilitating interactions among judges, attorneys, and all involved parties within the judicial process. This study aims to examine the impacts of digitalization on procedural performance and criminal court hearings, focusing on enhanced transparency, accessibility, reduced operational costs, and increased procedural efficiency. The research follows a qualitative approach based on a bibliographic review of articles, legal frameworks, and reports from the National Council of Justice (CNJ). Findings suggest a considerable improvement in the judiciary's efficiency, while also highlighting challenges, such as the need for digital inclusion and secure management of procedural data. Implementing a fully digital approach in criminal courts is an inevitable evolution, yet it requires investments in technological infrastructure and workforce training to ensure equitable access to justice for all.
