This article explores the application of active methodologies in the teaching of environmental education in the context of interdisciplinarity, with the aim of making it more attractive to a hyperconnected generation. It is justified by the need to overcome the lack of interest caused by traditional teaching and to train aware and engaged citizens. The study addresses theoretical concepts and proposes pedagogical practices such as Problem-Based Learning, Phenomenon-Based Learning, Gamification and Mind Maps. The results indicate that interdisciplinarity, combined with active methodologies, makes environmental education more meaningful, connecting knowledge and engaging students. The conclusion is that transforming teaching requires a collective effort between schools, families and public policies, promoting education that prepares students for contemporary environmental challenges.
