Enamel Development Defects (EDD) affect aesthetics and psychological well-being, especially in young patients. The treatment with the resin infiltrant Icon® is an effective minimally invasive approach for white spot lesions, improving both aesthetics and enamel microhardness. This study reports the use of Icon® in a 17-year-old patient with a white spot lesion on tooth #21, resulting in satisfactory camouflage of the lesion and aesthetic improvement, meeting the patient's expectations. It is concluded that the resin infiltrant Icon® is a valid and conservative option for treating incipient caries or enamel hypomineralization (MIH). Its ability to penetrate the affected areas and stabilize the lesion's progression without the need for removal of carious tissue makes it an effective approach. Reports and studies show that the use of Icon® reduces lesion progression, preserving dental structure and providing both aesthetic and functional benefits. The technique is simple, relatively easy to apply, and stands as a promising, less traumatic alternative compared to traditional treatments, particularly for enamel opacities such as mild or moderate fluorosis, delivering excellent results in a single session.
