Introduction: Chemotherapy, although an essential part of the therapeutic strategy for cancer in children, can cause a series of adverse oral complications. This study aims to review the existing literature on these conditions, in order to provide a broad view of the oral effects of chemotherapy in pediatric patients. Objectives: The main objective of this study is to identify and classify oral manifestations related to chemotherapy, in addition to discussing their consequences on the health and quality of life of children undergoing cancer treatment. Methodology: An integrative review of the literature was carried out, covering articles published between 2014 and 2024. Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to select relevant studies in databases such as PubMed, Lilacs, and SciELO. Results: The study revealed a diversity of oral manifestations, such as mucositis, xerostomia, oral infections, and taste alterations. These conditions negatively impact feeding, communication, and, consequently, the quality of life of children. In addition, the lack of dental support during treatment was highlighted. Conclusion: Oral manifestations represent a significant aspect of chemotherapy treatment in children, requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Promoting adequate oral care and implementing preventive strategies are essential to improve the patient experience and overall health. The literature indicates the need for further research to deepen the understanding of these manifestations.
