Abstract

The global educational landscape has undergone a profound transformation due to the Covid- 19 pandemic, globalization, and the emergence of new technological tools. This has driven the need to create and implement new educational practices. In this context, Instructional Design (ID) has emerged as a crucial tool, integrating with technology to create effective and meaningful learning experiences. This article aims to explore the intersection between ID and technology in education, addressing the following topics: definition of ID and its importance in the educational context; role of technology in education; challenges and opportunities of this integration. Bibliographic research methodology was employed. The results have shown that the combination of ID and technology strengthens teaching practices, promoting personalization, engagement, and accessibility in education. This integration allows for the creation of more dynamic and inclusive learning environments, optimizing teachers' time and meeting the individual needs of students. Despite the benefits, it is necessary to address challenges such as data privacy and inequality of access. Continuity of research in this area is crucial to address these issues and bring new insights to the subject.
