The installation of immediate implants with immediate loading, despite being an innovative technique with promising results, still needs to be better disseminated and analyzed from the point of view of the results. The problem analyzed in the present study seeks to understand: how to ensure the success of immediate implants with immediate loading, amidst the challenges of the technique, making it accessible to all audiences for whom it can be indicated? The general objective of this study is to collect data on the procedure of immediate implant installation with immediate loading to better understand the technique, observing the challenges of the procedure, in order to assist in greater efficiency of the results. The specific objectives include: identifying the main problems related to the application of the technique; verifying possible improvements, updates and adaptations to the technique, in order to improve its percentage and efficiency, effectiveness and applicability; and creating a basis for a study that will serve as a basis for professionals who aim to develop and use the technique in their practices. A bibliographic search was carried out, of studies selected from the Lilacs and MedLine databases, available in the Virtual Health Library (BVS); PubMed; Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and Scielo. The keywords for collecting studies related to the research topic were: dental implants and immediate loading in dental implants. The inclusion criteria for selecting studies were the following: national and international articles; available in full; and published in the last 10 years, from 2014 to 2024. Through this study, it was possible to conclude that the installation of immediate implants with immediate loading is a safe and viable technique, with few limitations and high survival rates, offering satisfactory aesthetic and functional results in treatments in the field of Implantology. The use of dental implants with immediate loading can be a challenge in aesthetic areas, with greater risks of resorption, since tissue remodeling occurs quickly due to the loss of blood supply. Periodontal disease is not a contraindication, but it is essential that prior care be taken to obtain control of the microbiota and associated problems.
