This article sought to provide an epidemiological analysis of the incidence of syphilis among adolescents aged 15 to 19 in Cascavel-PR between 2011 and 2023. This is a descriptive and quantitative study, based on data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) made available by DATASUS. The main objective of this study was to identify trends and patterns in the occurrence of this infection among young people in the region. The main results found were that among the 715 confirmed notifications of adolescents with syphilis, 53.99% were female and 46.01% were male. Regarding race, 59.72% were white and 35.38% were brown. In addition, 30.21% had incomplete high school and 28.53% had completed it. These data highlight the vulnerability of adolescents, especially in relation to sex and education. The conclusion of this study is that syphilis has a high prevalence among adolescents, especially among girls and those with low levels of education, which reinforces the need for public actions aimed at education and prevention of this infection.
