Nursing is among the professions most likely to trigger occupational stress, as there is great pressure on its professionals. Among the diseases that have led most to absence from work in nursing, Burnout Syndrome stands out. The present work has the general objective of carrying out an analysis of the national literature relating to Burnout Syndrome in nurses, published between 2019 and February 2023. The bibliographic review of articles published between 2019 and 2023 was used as the research methodology, in the databases in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), and in the LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences) databases and SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) databases in the period between 2019 and 2023, using the operator Boolean AND, with the following combinations: Burnout AND nursing, AND impacts on care.
