Abstract

This study analyzed the advantages, challenges, and risks of the digital environment for education, focusing on the contemporary educational model inserted in the technological space. The investigation sought to understand how digital technologies influence the educational process, highlighting positive aspects, such as the personalization of learning and student engagement, as well as risks, such as inequality of access and ethical issues related to data privacy. The research used a bibliographic methodology, drawing on specialized literature and academic sources to analyze tools such as artificial intelligence, gamification, and virtual reality. The analysis showed that, despite the opportunities provided by digital technologies for teaching, careful planning is necessary to balance the adoption of these innovations with the preservation of human interaction and the promotion of digital inclusion. Finally, this study highlighted the importance of new research to understand the long-term impacts of these technologies on education.
