Abstract

This study explored how the digital environment impacts education, aiming to analyze the advantages, benefits, and risks associated with the use of digital technologies in teaching. The literature review revealed that the integration of collaborative tools and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and gamification, offers new methods and opportunities to enhance the educational experience. The results indicated that these technologies can foster dynamic and engaging teaching, promoting student collaboration and engagement. However, risks were also identified, including challenges related to access, privacy, and the need for adequate training to use these tools effectively. The concluding remarks emphasized the need for a balanced approach to maximize benefits while mitigating risks. This study contributed to the understanding of the impacts of digital technologies on education, though further research is needed to explore long-term effects and challenges related to digitalization. The research was conducted through a bibliographic review, utilizing a critical analysis of the existing literature on the topic.
