Abstract

The research addresses Educommunication as an agent of awareness in socio-environmental practices, emphasizing its relevance in the contemporary educational context. Using a bibliographical methodology, the study analyzes fundamental concepts, history and exemplary practices, allowing a critical understanding of the subject. The selection of sources includes books, academic articles and institutional documents, guaranteed for their credibility. Data collection will be carried out through critical reading and filing, facilitating the organization and analysis of information. The expected results include the identification of trends, convergences and divergences in Educommunication approaches and their relationship with sustainability. The research also aims to highlight the limitations of the field and the importance of active methodologies in education. Ultimately, this work will contribute to the formation of critical citizens who are engaged in socio-environmental issues, promoting a more sustainable future.
